The 2025 quota for New Brunswick was 1,250 applicants and has now been filled. Newfoundland &amp; Labrador<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Newfoundland &amp; Labrador has not paused the AIP, but it has released a list of priority occupations that are exempt from labour market testing and are processed faster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Priority healthcare occupations include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Physician (various specialties)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nurse<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clinical psychologist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physiotherapist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Radiation therapist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dosimetrist, and more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Information and Technology (ICT) sector:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Software programmer\/developer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electrical\/Mechanical\/Biomedical engineer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AI developer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Infrastructure engineer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Security, cloud, and network specialist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data analyst, bioinformatics specialist, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aquaculture sector:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Farm manager<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equipment technician, and more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From February 2025, this province will also use the EOI model for AIP, meaning candidates must first submit an EOI. After receiving an invitation, they can apply for endorsement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-new-brunswick\">4. New Brunswick<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New Brunswick announced that from April 4, 2025, until the end of the year, it will not accept new AIP applications due to quota completion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only applications submitted before April 4 will be considered, as long as they are for jobs outside the closed list.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, in June 2025, the province received 1,500 additional PNP quotas, and candidates can check their eligibility in NB PNP streams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2
